With over 13 years of experience in the social work and psychotherapy field, I specialize in several different modalities that address an array of symptoms and mental health issues. I have worked with
individuals struggling with mood disorders, anxiety, depression, trauma, abuse, sleep issues, substance abuse, anger issues, stress management and difficulty with life adjustments.
My approach is client-centered, collaborative, solution focused, strengths and evidence-based. I prioritize building a trusting and safe therapeutic relationship focused on the mind body soul connection.
The main goal is to assist clients with healing from the past, improve the present, and look forward to the future with a new philosophy to approach life's changes and challenges.
I have a master's degree in clinical social work from Touro College and have completed trainings and certifications for cognitive behavioral therapy, dialectical behavioral therapy, acceptance and commitment therapy, psychoanalysis, and mindfulness based stress reduction. In addition to emotion focused therapy and internal family systems training for the treatment of couples and families.
